Guzzo Awarded Legacy Award from Preservation New Jersey

On November 21 st , Preservationists gathered at Hinchcliffe Stadium in Paterson, NJ to attend the 2024

New Jersey Historic Preservation Awards. Each year, Preservation New Jersey looks for projects that

exemplify outstanding rehabilitations, initiatives that further the goals of preservation and for

outstanding individuals who have greatly contributed to promoting and protecting the tangible remains

of our past. This year’s recipient of the Sarah P. Fiske Legacy Award was Dorothy P. Guzzo, a

Main Street NJ Advisory Committee and is the former chair of the Alice Paul Institute. She has held

elective office, and has been a Planning Board and Historic Preservation Commission member.

Historic Moorestown, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the physical historic legacy of

Moorestown, NJ. Dorothy currently serves as its Vice President. In addition, Ms. Guzzo participates on

the Development Committee of 120 East State Street (Trenton) and is a member of the Stickley Museum
